The fact that Chelsea is doing American psycho kill count is like the biggest flex since dominating Elden Ring

Daisy Edgar-Jones is a terrific actress, she sold every emotion (even her character's hidden ones) so well. It was truly insane how clearly you could see Noa's conflicting emotions when she's forced to eat human meat while also successfully hiding that conflict from Steve. Her losing like half her ass is the biggest plot hole in the movie, but the entire "women as just a piece of ass" bit is so funny I can't help but handwave it off.

Hey Chelsea, can't wait for you to cover the American Psycho Kill Count. I could tell from the Awards Ceremony that you took lessons in doing voiceovers. I think it will sound good on the kill count as well.

What I find the most interesting is that the imprisonment of the women "Steve" is butchering in the basement is almost a symbolism for abusive relationships. Melissa, Penny, and Noa all being in different stages mentally, suffering from the abuse from a man. At one point Penny is explaining to Noa that Melissa has lost her mind, and she says: "She's gone crazy. I don't blame her, no judgement here. I understand." As if Melissa is a woman so far mentally gone because the torture she underdured, and Penny being in the middle of process, knows that hopeless feeling. Noa even seeks to ask them how they can get out and who will help them, Penny responding saying that there is no one. Reminds me of how abusers will isolate and target vulnerable people.

One of my favorite parts about the movie is Noa, Mollie, and Penny escaping and how they all worked so hard to protect each other and make sure they all got out.

The cotton candy grapes are great. They are not overly sweet, and yes...most of the time taste like cotton candy quite a bit. You two are missing out.

Steve being sloppy makes since to me. The more criminals commit a crime, especially killers, they get more blunt, hide their tracks less, and more show off. It's cause they want to show off to the police that they are smarter and more clever than others. I totally believe Steve thinks the same way

For my late husband, his foot fetish was more about touching and smelling feet. the first time we ever messed around, no matter what position we were in or how awkward it was physically, he had his hands on one or both of my feet the entire time. I didn't know about his fetish at that time but I remember thinking wow he's really touching my feet a lot... Then like a year into our marriage he asked me to wear the same pair of socks two days in a row bc he said that would get them to the perfect smell. I was mortified and I was too embarrassed so I refused. Then about a year after that, about two and a half years into our marriage he died in a very sudden accident at work. So let that be a lesson to you. Life is short. Let your spouse smell your feet.

About horror movies that start off as romantic comedies, Audition does this masterfully.

I think the meat Steve had on breakfast was his wife’s leg! Just to reminds her of his power and that was aged meat.

Something I keep coming back to is how Chad gives that greasy speech about how "women used to be more dedicated to femininity" and how Noah "would look great in a dress" and then later Steve, who is brought in as the good love interest after Chad in the rom-com beginning, dresses her up in a pink dress with a big-ass bow on the chest

regarding his wife - i don't think she was a former victim, i think that turning the cannibalism into a business was her idea. i got the impression they'd been together from a very young age (since he mentions having started eating people at 19, i thought maybe while he was in medical school) and she'd eventually given her leg up. the personal touches he added to each meat package and the fact that i think she says to the driver to put his body on ice makes me think she was running the business end of things even if she didn't participate in eating humans herself.

The important question is: Is Chelsea going to cover the second American Psycho as well? XD

The movie takes place in Portland. You see that as the location on the dating app and then when the bartender looks at Molly’s location the map is Portland. And as a portlander it’s adds a lot to it that his murder house is up in forest park where all the super wealthy portlanders live.
