Honestly, this movie would have been a DOPE stand alone horror movie without a connection to chucky!! An AI doll is definitely a cool modern take on it

Even Mark Hamill loved voicing Chucky, he agreed that there was no need for a remake because the original was perfect.

The thing I don’t like about this one is that they take the whole serial killer possessed doll aspect out of it, which is literally the entirety of what Chucky IS. This is just a doll with an unexplainable malfunction because of a safety switch being turned off that picked up all the wrong things from AI learning intelligence. This isn’t even really chucky.

I've seen the 1st episode of the Child's play series, and i have to say it looks damn good. I was pleasantly surprised it was just as good as the original movie.

This would be a way better movie without it being chucky. Like just make it an ai doll, it makes more sense for the modern company to make a sleeker, less 80s style design anyway

This is like Frankenstein for me. Chuck was made defective and only wanted to be loved by his master, but because of both ignorance and misunderstanding he becomes this twisted demon that wants to right his personal wrongs
